Pickle & Pals: A Dayton Pickleball Social
Tired of swiping? Put down your phone, pick up a paddle, and meet people in real life! Our Dayton pickleball social is a one-day mixer designed for you to connect with local singles and make new friends in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere. You'll play in fun, rotating co-ed games, giving you the chance to meet tons of new people.
Why This is Dayton's Best Social Event
A Better Way to Connect: Playing a game together is the perfect icebreaker. Forget awkward small talk and make genuine connections in a relaxed, active setting.
All Skills Welcome: Whether you're a seasoned player or have never held a paddle, our format is designed for fun, not intense competition. We group players by similar age and skill level to ensure everyone is comfortable.
Incredible Value: Your ticket doesn't just get you on the court. It includes your first drink at the after-party, access to the new connection app, and a full morning of organized fun!
How It Works
We've made meeting people easy and stress-free. Here’s the plan:
- Play & Rotate: You'll play in several short, fun games with a new partner every single round. It’s the perfect, natural way to meet everyone.
- Connect with Your Group: To help foster the best connections, players are grouped on courts with others in a similar age bracket and skill level.
- Use the App: After the games, use the new connection app to privately 'like' any new friends or potential matches you clicked with. If they like you back, the app opens a private chat for you both!
- Join the After-Party: The fun continues at Two Social, where you can claim your included drink and keep the conversations going.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes this different from a league?
This is a one-day social mixer, not a multi-week league. The focus is on meeting new people through rotating partners in a casual setting, rather than competing with a set team for a championship.
What if I've never played pickleball before?
No problem at all! This event is designed to be beginner-friendly. We'll have a court for new players to learn the basics in a fun, no-pressure environment.
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself in comfortable, athletic clothing and court shoes. We provide all the paddles and balls, but you are welcome to bring your own. Don't forget water!
